DeeeMines: an i-PhD award to accelerate innovation in brominated plastics recycling
Morvan Gaudin received the i-PhD prize from Bpifrance in recognition of his research into the recovery of antimony from brominated plastics in WEEE. This work forms the scientific basis of the DeeeMines project, which was developed at Chimie ParisTech – PSL. The prize includes one year of support from Bpifrance to accelerate the project's development.

In October 2025, we visited Environnement Recycling's site in Montluçon, a leading French company specialising in the treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
